Beginner Bodybuilding Fundamentals

Continuing on with beginner bodybuilding fundamentals from the previous podcast, I shed some more light on training and nutrition strategies to achieve muscular development and/or fat-loss. Not everything you read or listen to is exactly 100% anymore and I don’t think it’s right for advanced principles of training, dieting, and weightlifting to be thrown to people in a one-size-fits-all manner.

  1. Hey John, what’s up? I forgot to ask you a question…as per your last podcast, you mentioned gh for recovering from an injury and how it healed you. My question is…I had knee surgery on my right knee almost 2 decades ago. They took out all the cartilage out. My right knee is bone to bone. I cant run anymore and I walk with a limp because of it. I know that you are not a medical professional however, I value your knowledge and experiences on surgeries and injuries. As a 40 years young guy if I go to a private doctor and get gh under the doctor’s supervision do you think that my cartilage will grow back and heal like your shoulder? After listening to your podcast I’m strongly considering it. I want to hear your thoughts or suggestions. Thank you.

    • I’m not so sure it would heal an issue where there is no cartilage in the area, but it wouldn’t hurt to try it and see if it doesn’t provide SOME type of improvement -JD
