Extreme dieting and eating disorders..it's something rarely talked about.

Often times we don't need to go through extreme deprivation with specific nutrients and totally cut away everything.

Don't fall victim to counterproductive measures that halt fat-loss!

There are manageable ways to do this on a consistent basis without being totally hot or cold throughout the year.

    • I have never done it for a long period of time, after a few days without carbs I feel like shit. Some ppl do well with it though, I’m just not one of them. But the only way to know if it works for you is to try it out. I would just pay attention to 3 things; how you look, how you feel, and how you recover. Protein is not #1 in my book, carbohydrates are. Enough protein to recover and grow, some carbs to volumize, provide muscle glycogen, and brain function. Ketosis is a body survival mechanism, not health and fitness. When gym performance suffers too much it’s time for me to reintroduce carbohydrates. Carbs aren’t the enemy, shitty foods are the enemy in my book. Overindulgence is the enemy, not a balanced diet. Everything I personally do is about carb timing, when I can reintroduce to take advantage of, and have crazy pumps and tight skin from muscles pushing out against the skin. So my mentality if I’m taking out carbs is to strictly set myself up for when my body can shuttle them most effectively. Some deprivation is necessary to better utilize the carbs when I do have them. While bodybuilding may not be the exact definition of health and fitness, the new deal now is CARB SHUTTLING. Increasing insulin sensitivity, berberine supplementation, metformin etc, carb timing around the workouts but not total deprivation. My .02 -JD

  1. What’s your views on porn and masturbation and this whole NOFAP thing?

Do you think that it’s not a big deal to jerk off here and there?

I keep seeing loads of people talking about losing vital energy when you ejaculate. Would like to hear your 2 cents

    • I think porn and masturbation is normal. Now, when it turns into having to watch a clown take it up the ass while he’s fucking a horse…you may have a problem
