The REAL REASON You Can’t Build Muscle and Lose Fat!

I won’t bury the lead here. The real reason you can’t build muscle and lose fat is because YOU ARE A PUSSY! It’s not nice to hear but there’s not a more honest way to say it. Sorry, not sorry.

You are a pathetic pussy that has no accountability or self-discipline, and rather than looking in the mirror and coming to this realization, it’s easier to blame everyone else for why you’re such a pathetic pussy!

Don’t worry, you are not alone. There are plenty of you out there lately! It’s gotten so pathetic that I can literally smell the bitch on your clothes and the estrogen pheromones that you put off when you walk past me… just walking around like a zombie, face glued to your phone, struggling for more and more information that you don’t have the ability to put into action.

But it’s okay, there is always tomorrow. There is no reason to get off your fat ass today, just be like everyone and start tomorrow… or the day after that… or the day after that… Yep, keep telling yourselves that shit!

Why is your face in your fucking phone so much while you’re in the gym anyways? You’re not that important, stop lying to yourself by thinking that the world cannot operate without you.

I love music myself, more specifically metal music that’s high energy and amps me the fuck up and helps me destroy workouts. Yes, I get bored easily and I’ll sift through some music between my sets, BUT IT DOESN’T DELAY ME FROM GETTING TO MY NEXT SET! If your phone is fucking with you at the gym then my advice is to go to airplane mode and switch back when the workout is done.

You are a nobody… a fucking fat, undisciplined NOBODY who has such a shitty life that you don’t even have the ability to turn reality off for one measly hour in the gym! I’m talking about the ones that park their scrawny ass on a machine and go back to text messaging for 15 minutes straight while doing nothing more than occupying space!

But it’s not their fault they can’t get results, don’t you see that it’s simply because they don’t have the right steroids? I mean, THEY’RE DOING IT NATTY, SO WHO THE FUCK AM I TO JUDGE?

Actually, NO, THEY’RE NOT DOING ANYTHING AT ALL!

THEY’RE DOING JACK SHIT!

So, if this is you, then this article will explain why you’re not getting results!

 YOU HAVE NO ACCOUNTABILITY

Late everyplace you go? Then chances are you’re either a fat fuck or a skinny fat fuck! You lack the ability to kick your own ass, this is why you’re late arriving places and this is also why you’re unable to do things like cook your fucking food and prep it!

Intensity? What’s intensity? How do you generate intensity when you can’t even get your fat ass someplace on time? The guy who is late simply doesn’t have the ability to generate intensity! This is the same person who is losing themselves in their phone instead of doing their fucking sets and moving on!

The thing about bodybuilding is that everything permeates into everything else, including bad habits. If you begin to hold yourself more accountable outside of the gym, you’ll start holding yourself more accountable when you’re in the gym. This is the first step to eliminating the pussy that you’ve become as you’ve gotten older and conformed to pussification!

YOU HAVE THE ORDER OF THINGS MIXED UP!

The order of things should be:

  1. Diet
  2. Training
  3. Performance enhancement and/or supplements (for more information on performance enhancement, be sure to grab Straight from the Underground today!)

Instead, the majority of people’s priorities go:

  1. Performance enhancement
  2. Training
  3. Diet

Exactly. Prioritize the hardest thing last. That’s how you get it done right?

Take it from me, I’ve run all types of different steroids and steroid cycles, the drugs don’t make as big of a difference as you think! I see far too many guys racking their brains over the “perfect little cycle to hit their goals” when the reality of it is they’re too much of a pussy to put a dent in anything!

Winstrol and test? or Tren, test and Anavar? Fuck man, I don’t know, JUST RUN THE DAMN THING AND PUT THE WORK IN AND SHUT THE FUCK UP!

The ones most obsessed over gear are usually the ones that look like absolute dog shit! NEVER, EVER, HAVE I TRAINED SOMEONE THAT CAME TO ME RUNNING A BOATLOAD OF ANABOLICS WHO LOOKED GOOD!

I’m being serious here, the ones I’ve trained who always looked the absolute best were the guys most committed to diet and training, not steroids! Do they work? Yes, of course they work! But they don’t work if you don’t work!

SO, GET OFF YOUR ASS, TURN YOUR LITTLE OVEN ON, AND PREP YOUR DAMN FOOD… YOU FAT MOTHERFUCKER!

YOU AREN’T BRINGING ENOUGH “NEW” TO THE TABLE TO MAKE THE CHANGES

Think about what you’re doing when you are trying to make changes to a routine. Are you bringing enough NEW to the table that your body actually responds? No, taking an exercise a few more sets and doing nothing else with diet and cardio usually isn’t THE NEW that’s necessary to make changes, especially if you want to be ripped up!

I talked about a boxer’s routine a few years ago, explaining how the benefits of training like a boxer can bring good physique changes to a routine. No, I’m not talking about punching or jumping rope here, I’m talking about doing activity like cardio and abdominal training before you touch the weights.

My son recently got back into boxing and I’ll take him to the gym and watch how everyone there trains. I can take something away from almost any style of training, even if I don’t do that style of training there are usually elements involved with it that I can take away and include in my own routines to some degree.

When my son gets to boxing there is a routine they all do, everyone from the beginner to the professional boxer will do the same protocol:

     Exercise bike – 15 minutes

Sit-ups –  A minimum of 100, many more than 100 for seasoned guys though

Heavy bag work – Multiple rounds, usually 10 rounds with short rest periods between rounds.

Mitt work with a trainer –  Working on combinations, hand and eye coordination, and defense head slips and counter punching.

Ring work or sparring (if it’s sparring night)

The bottom line here is that you aren’t going into the ring to spar someone when you’re fresh. You’re going in there to spar when you’ve already had the shit kicked out of you from all of the pre-exhaust work leading up to that point.

Do you know what that does for you? IT MAKES YOU BETTER! YOU ONLY GET BETTER!

AND NOBODY IN THAT BOXING GYM THAT’S BEEN THERE LONGER THAN A MONTH IS OUT OF SHAPE!

I’m talking about 90% of them have visible abs, lean bodies and rounded deltoids. No, they’re not “bodybuilder big” but most people would love to have the physique of someone that goes to that gym regularly.

CELL PHONES? HA!

IF YOU KEPT LOOKING AT YOUR PHONE IN THAT PLACE THE COACH WOULD ASK YOU WHAT THE FUCK YOU WERE DOING AND TELL YOU TO GO HOME AND COME BACK WHEN YOU’RE SERIOUS!

There are some benches and dumbbells in the gym but it’s minimal, it’s just enough to get the job done and accompany boxing training and help build you up enough to beat the shit out of someone when fight night arrives, and you step into that ring!

When you walk into that boxing gym there is nothing on the one TV screen other than boxing matches and the only other noise in the gym is bags and mits being smacked and a timer. The protocol isn’t over complicated or overly scientific and it works because it’s comprised of FOCUS AND HARD WORK! Most of those guys probably aren’t using supplements or steroids, counting calories, or hitting 6 meals daily.

Now, I’m not telling you to disregard diet, TRT, or cycles if you’re into bodybuilding because bodybuilding and boxing are kind of like apples to oranges. My point is, routines and consistency prevail, and INTENSITY IS KING! There is plenty of intensity in that boxing gym.

So, one thing that I took away from going to that gym was that I was going to begin EVERY WORKOUT with a brisk 30 minute walk on an incline treadmill, and then hit at least 100 decline sit-ups before I ever touched the weights. I wasn’t changing fast enough to my liking, and I seriously had to ask myself if I was bringing anything new to the table.

The answer was “not enough” and therefore I thought it would be a good idea to reverse the order that I did things in the gym, or at least make it a priority up front every time I stepped foot in there so it wouldn’t even be possible to skip out on it!

But “the new” could be anything from diet to training, to rest and recovery, to cycles and/or breaks from cycles. You have to seriously ask yourself if there is enough stimulus to make a change, and oftentimes even with consistency there still isn’t enough of the new and different to change much, ESPECIALLY AFTER WE’VE BEEN IN THE GYM FOR SEVERAL YEARS!

If you’re looking for a kick ass workout routine that brings NEW to the table, that challenges you and keeps things so intense that you cannot get distracted enough to have a shit workout, then I urge you to try Shredded Ops and then Let the Blood Spill workout routines. These routines were designed based on pre-exhaust principles with exercises like push-ups and pull-ups intermittently thrown in with more traditional weightlifting exercises. The workouts were designed with all elements of movement, health, and developing a Greek God look all taken into consideration!

STOP DOING THINGS YOU FEEL OBLIGATED TO DO BUT DON’T HAVE AN INTEREST IN

Look, I totally get it. Sometimes trying to make everybody happy and doing the family thing can get difficult, I live that life myself! But understand that sometimes there just comes a point when you have to draw the line. I’ve recently had to pull the reigns back on some of this myself. Now, before you go thinking that I’m not present or being selfish, let me just explain what I mean here.

It seems like every single week since last Christmas there has been some type of get-together celebrating something. I’m talking to the point it got fucking ridiculous and my days off were spent attending these damn things in a way that I strongly felt was pulling me away from my foundation and routine. I’m not talking just once a month here, no Sir, I’m talking every motherfucking week!

It finally got to the point where I just said, “NO, I’M NOT ATTENDING EVERYTHING JUST SO PEOPLE DON’T THINK I’M AN ASSHOLE!” The bottom line was that I was tired, and many of these events I really didn’t want to go to anymore, they weren’t fun for me anymore. Now, surely I’m not going to miss birthdays with immediate family or anything like that, but just because someone decides to do a cookout doesn’t mean I’m going to go to it.

So, I finally got so fed up with shit derailing me that I told my wife, “Have fun, I’m not going to it, I’m tired and I don’t feel like being at a party till midnight.”

It’s just not a day off to me when I feel forced to do something I really don’t want to do in order to appease people that do not live the same lifestyle I live. I don’t live my life like a hermit or anything, but I’ve learned the value in saying “NO” from time to time.

The people in life that seem the unhappiest are the ones who stopped living for themselves. I’m not telling you to neglect family or anything, but if you need a period of time to get yourself back and actually enjoy parts of your life (or how you feel/see yourself in the mirror) then I don’t see an issue with telling people no from time to time. Don’t neglect your family but don’t be afraid to be your own man sometimes either.

FAD DIETS AND DEPRIVATION DOESN’T WORK!

When I say “deprivation diets,” I’m not talking about a caloric restriction that becomes more extreme as you get into more ripped condition. No, what I’m talking about here is a diet that starts off by missing meals, fasting, and this assumption that somehow you can build this incredible body by depriving yourself of meals and minimum nutrients required to sustain muscle growth or muscle retention while burning body fat.

Part of the problem is that when you don’t know what to do, it’s easy for the best “salesman” to get it in your head that there is just some secret that nobody has told you about. These feel-good salesmen could give a fuck about you, they know you won’t stick to anything long anyways, so if they can get you to drop 10 lbs in a couple weeks then they’ve turned you into a dedicated follower.

So, all you know is that you did something (usually unrealistic, not sustainable, and lacks REAL EFFORT AND PREP) and lost a few pounds fairly quickly. BUT PEOPLE FAIL TO UNDERSTAND IS THAT THEY STILL LOOK LIKE SACKS OF SHIT! Killer diet and routine huh?

Deprivation diets simply don’t work because they lack effort and preparation. You simply wing it day to day and avoid food. Never mind eating the right foods in the right amounts to actually see sustainable results and learn the ropes on dieting and exercise for long-term success, nah fuck that, that makes too much sense! These people will continue to do the same idiot diets over and over again thinking, “It’s the only thing that works for me?”

NO, IT DOESN’T WORK FOR YOU, IF IT WORKED YOU WOULDN’T STILL LOOK LIKE DOG SHIT!

Things have gotten so bad lately that I’m seeing ads for T-shirts that “make men have more of the appearance of someone that works out.” How fucking pathetic is that? So, what happens next? Does the shirt come off on a date and you get laughed at because you have man tits and a gut? Wouldn’t it make more sense to actually learn how to do things the right way and stop falling for fly-by-night bullshit?

But I get it, I really get it… we live in a world of instant gratification, and you’re supposed to be able to just buy whatever you want. Well, here’s a little newsflash for you, MONEY CAN’T BUY THIS!

RESULTS BUILD MOTIVATION

Results will build the motivation to take the steps to get better. The first couple months I was working out I actually didn’t care for it. Never would I have thought that the gym and nutrition would ever be such a big part of my life one day. The desire to build something had to outweigh the dislike for the effort it took to get results. After a couple months of workouts that dislike went away! I had thought to myself, “Finally, something I’m doing is working and I’m starting to feel good about what I’m doing!”

You need to be consistent enough for at least 6-8 weeks to see the training effect. The training effect is when you noticeably look different to people, possibly even yourself (we see ourselves a lot so chances are others might notice the changes before you fully see them).

You don’t need to know everything about this to start getting great results. Like those boxers in that gym that I take my son to; they don’t know a lot about nutrition, supplements, or weight training. But their consistency and intensity make them better and better. Think about what you could do with the knowledge and the work ethic with it?

But one thing is for damn sure, you aren’t going to do anything with that bitch mentality that simply conforms to the way everyone else acts lately!

THE WORLD HAS GOTTEN SOFT, SHARPEN THAT IRON AND STAND THE FUCK OUT!

  1. Changed my whole workout the other day waiting on the smith machine until 45 mins later the fat fuck was still on their phone acting like it was their personal gym. It’s hard not to lose it when your putting in work and somehow it’s wrong when you do say something to these mutts.
This article couldn’t be more on point with our weak society and the new age gym atmosphere.

I hate 15 yer old boys txting sitting on equipment that I wait for. I hit it hard. Just a comment I guess
