What’s up fellow freaks and gym rats?
I had an interesting question come through an email to me several weeks back, and that person wanted to know my thoughts on marijuana and/or other recreational drugs for the intention of recovery aids for bodybuilding. I thought that this was a good topic to address since there are so many people using recovery aids for the gym, and also so many people that are curious about it.
I also thought that while I was on the topic, what better time to talk about oral steroids and my own experience with oral versus injectable steroid compounds.

I’ve been working my way through your podcasts on my daily drive to the gym. Great way to get in the right frame of mind for a killer workout.
RE: marijuana, my home state just legalized THC edibles. While I don’t want to rely on them as a crutch, a THC gummy or two has been really effective on nights where I’m struggling to sleep. They do take about 30-60 minutes to kick in, so a bit more planning required, versus a couple tokes from a joint.
