While I am not an advocate of living off protein shakes alone they can help you get your protein intake up when you're trying to build muscle or prevent muscle loss while dieting.
Unless you plan on eating nothing but meat with almost every meal I would strongly suggest a protein shake or two each day to help get your protein and calories where they need to be.
I've always believed that the best diet for anyone is a diet that they can stick to!!
For myself, eating eggs a couple times a day, meat a couple times a day along with a couple protein shakes each day is a long-term diet that I can stick with.
Consistency is what pays off here when it comes to bodybuilding and getting in shape.
Protein shakes are also a cost effective way to get enough protein into your diet.
Meat is getting very expensive nowadays and if you break down the cost per pound of chicken, beef, fish, and steak and compare it to the cost per serving of whey protein, you'll come out cheaper if you supplement your diet with a shake or two a day.
Hell, even at that I'm still spending a shit ton of money on my diet, imagine if it was all meat exclusively? God, the cost would be outrageous!!
With all of the dangers of genetically modified foods and the rise of cancer rates, Red Supplements has come out with an all new Red Protein (Elite whey) that is GMO free (genetically modified organism) and comes from nothing but grass fed dairy cows, AND TASTES AMAZING LIKE ICE CREAM!!
Ice Cream Protein contains immune system boosting immunofactors such as insulin-like growth factors (IGF-1), transfer factors and growth factors, lactoferrins (major component of the bodies immune system), lacto peroxidase, alpha-lactalbumins, and serum bovine albumins.
Basically what all of that means is that first off, lacto peroxidase is the enzyme that is found in raw milk, not the deteriorated milk that is shitty and now on almost all store shelves.
The lacto peroxidase enzyme is what preserves milk for a few hours after milk is withdrawn from the animal (or humans such as breast feeding) but exposure to microbacteria quickly breaks the raw milk down. This can be prolonged through refrigeration but only for so long.
What this basically means to you is that your protein powder is equipped with the raw materials to prevent breakdown of it's nutritional value and protein quantity. Being that the protein is put together in a bacteria-free facility and jugged before exposure to microbacteria ensures proper nutrient quantities and absorption when you use it.
Alpha-lactalbumin is a protein that is present in milk and bonds calcium and zinc ions together to help form anti-tumor activity and bactericidal properties (destruction of bacteria).
Serum bovine albumin is a very important part of cell composition because it serves as a transporter to tissues and cells of the body based on the structure of the protein. It's basically the molecule transporter that is needed to make the absorption rate highly effective when it comes to a high quality protein supplement!!
THIS ICE CREAM WHEY PROTEIN SUPPLEMENT WAS PUT TOGETHER JUST RIGHT!!! With a strong emphasis on IGF-1 as a primary immunofactor you simply cannot go wrong with this blend!!
If you want to grow quality muscles and are looking for a way to properly supplement your diet then you simply cannot go wrong with Red Supplement's Ice Cream Protein Powder!!!
BY THE WAY, DID I MENTION IT TASTES AMAZING?
