I’m going to let you in on a few little secrets here that are serious game changers when it comes to getting shredded. They’re simple, affordable, and will not only get you more shredded but they’ll keep your muscles fuller during the process.
One issue I constantly see over and over again are people who want to use steroids but are so high in bodyfat that they would benefit very little from them. Guys who are over 20% bodyfat want to run a cycle and this really makes no sense when it comes to fat loss!!
When you have that much bodyfat on your frame, your body is not going to begin tapping into muscle mass for energy for a very long time. Your body has a ton of fat stores to use for energy and to dump steroids into your body at that point is a complete waste to me.
Why would you want to deal with recovery issues from a cycle when you hardly came close to where you wanted to end up?
I always believed in dieting down as much as I could on my own before beginning a cycle. The best I’ve ever looked was when I did a 14 week diet and only used anabolics for the final 8 weeks. The first 6 weeks I used nothing and ate extremely strict!!
You’d be damn surprised at how good you can look even BEFORE A CYCLE when your training and nutrition is on point and it’s consistent!!
A lot of what I share with you are practices that I’ve done or I’m currently doing during the time of writing the article. I’m going to give you a few tips here to get extremely lean in a very short amount of time without losing muscle mass.
If you follow this guide then you’ll make about a month’s worth of progress in 10-14 days time.
Trust me I’m seeing this for myself right now!!
TAKE 14 DAYS OFF FROM LIFTING WEIGHTS.
The first thing you want to do is take 14 days off from lifting weights.
I know, I know, you won’t know what to do with yourself without weights right? But think about how long you may have been pounding the weights without a break.
If you follow this protocol you’re going to look larger, harder, and dryer when it’s said and done!!
DROP CARBS DOWN TO 100 GRAMS PER DAY
The next thing you’re going to do is drop your carbs down to roughly 100 grams a day and consume the bulk of them in the morning and with dinner.
Cutting carbs this low is not something I’d normally do right away, but it’s much easier to manage without the recovery demands of weight lifting coupled with cardio which is why I suggest it during this phase!!
I also suggest it during this protocol so your body will soak them up when you go back to working out, since they’ve been lowered for 10-14 days.
YOU WILL NOT HAVE A CHEAT MEAL DURING THIS PERIOD!!
Don’t act like a bitch, just do it!! Do you want to be a sheep or a wolf here?
You really won’t be as hungry as you’d think you’d be when weights are taken out of the equation, and lowering carbs isn’t as difficult when recovery demands aren’t as crucial.
DOUBLE YOUR CARDIO SESSIONS AND FREQUENCY!!
Since weights are now out of the equation what you want to do is increase your cardio to 6x/wk for an hour a session. This is much easier when you go to the gym and all you have to worry about is cardio. An hour fly’s by and you’re soaked in sweat when it’s all said and done (you should be anyways).
DRINK BLACK COFFEE AND WATER ONLY
Drink 1 cup of black coffee in the morning and another cup in the late afternoon. The caffeine will help with fat loss and energy levels.
Force 1 gallon of water into you per day. This can be more difficult as we get older I’ve found. It’s almost like you have to force yourself to start drinking more water before you feel like drinking more water. Then once the cycle starts it seems easier.
Water is a calorie burner and only helps with fat loss. It also helps keep you feeling full during times when calories and carbs are cut down.
BEGIN USING 2 CAPS/DAY OF RED-BURNER
The main reason we want the Red-Burner in here is because of a good synergistic combination of fat loss aids without TOO MUCH CAFFEINE. Red Burner is a more balanced fat burner with a thyroid support formula added to it and it won’t make you jittery.
I like my coffee so I’m always skeptical of fat loss products that are already equivalent to 2-3 cups of coffee, it’s too much!! But I have found that the combination of 1 cup of black coffee and 1 Red-burner pill twice/day is perfect, and it helps nullify hunger.
One thing you could try which is sort of a secret or the pros is to use your fat burner RIGHT BEFORE BED. You want to be asleep when this stuff kicks in so when I say “right before bed” I really mean RIGHT BEFORE FALLING ASLEEP.
Your body will have the fat burner kicking during a decent 5-8 hour fast during sleep and this equals CRAZY RESULTS FAST!!
Not an hour before bed…not 20 minutes before bed…..1 minute before your head hits the pillow!!
BEGIN USING 1 CAP/DAY OF RED PCT
Even as a standalone, Red-PCT is excellent for raising testosterone levels (which can commonly drop from dieting) and it helps keep you dry looking.
Red-PCT just makes you look harder and I can’t even begin to tell you how many guys have turned completely to Arimistane (main ingredient in Red-PCT) over more expensive and illegal ancillaries such as arimadex and aromasyn.
I don’t even fuck with other Aromatase inhibitors anymore. Even on testosterone replacement therapy, arimistane/Red-PCT is all I need to keep estrogen levels low and look harder.
BEGIN DRINKING AMINO ACID MIX 4x/DAY
Right now I’m currently using Muscletech Myobuild 4x, and I’ve used this one a lot in the past as well. The flavor is fantastic and it doesn’t have that shitty aftertaste other amino’s have.
What you want to think here is HEALING and MUSCLE CELL VOLUMIZING!! I use 1 scoop of Myobuild 4x in about 20 ounces of water 4x/day spaced throughout the day.
I can noticeably tell a difference in how pumped I look when I do this, especially during this phase I’m sharing with you guys.
WHAT SHOULD YOU EXPECT AT THE END OF 14 DAYS?
You’re going to LOOK BIGGER AND MORE SHREDDED!! You giving your muscles a break while still dieting and burning calories through the increased cardio.
Look, I love the gym just as much as anyone else does, probably more!! Taking 14 days completely off from weights takes a lot of discipline for me!! But once the results start coming in it gets easier trust me.
WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU GET BACK INTO WEIGHTS?
The first thing you’re going to notice is a huge increase in pump and muscle volume, you actually gave your muscles a chance to rest and heal.
You took in all of the essential food and amino acids to help keep the pump and your muscles are probably going to look like they have much more volume despite not lifting weights for 2 weeks.
Within a few short days and by bumping your carbs back up just 50 grams a day you’re going to look like a beast!!
Not only that, you’re strength levels are going to come back higher despite being leaner. This is a crucial part of body recomp!!
Anytime we can change something around to increase the fat loss while still feeding the muscles enough, it’s this time that we experience actual composition and not just muscle catabolism that is just as on par as fat loss (possibly more).
CONTINUE ON WITH THE DIET AND SUPPLEMENTS UNTIL YOU’RE AT LEAST 6 WEEKS INTO IT.
A couple cheat meals aren’t going to kill you but the first 6 weeks we want to be as strict as we can, especially the first 2 weeks.
I’m married with 2 kids at the house and junk food everywhere and I can do it, SO CAN YOU.
By the time your initial 6 weeks has passed, you won’t believe the changes you’ve already made without steroids.
AFTER THE 6 WEEK FOUNDATION IS LAID
After receiving numerous compliments and already feeling way ahead of schedule, you may start wondering “if I did this in just 6 weeks then what could I do in the next 6-8 weeks?”
Answer: LOOK FUCKING INSANE!!
NOW IS WHEN YOU BEGIN THE CYCLE, NOT WHEN YOU’RE 20% BODYFAT!!
This would be a perfect time to either start your steroid cycle or begin using Osta-Red. I really don’t know how much longer Ostarine is going to be around for, but one thing is for certain….THE SHIT WORKS!!
I would use 37.5 mg/day of Osta-Red for the next 6-8 weeks of the cutting cycle. Continue on with 1 pill per day of Red-PCT.
You will start looking insanely dry and much harder. This is going to be the point when your body starts taking on that illusion of being larger than you really are, you may begin looking 3D looking from muscle definition!!
You ever seen a guy in a magazine who competes in the lower 200 lbs? Or maybe you’ve been to a bodybuilding contest and have seen guys who looked huge and were in the middleweight class? They could tell you they were 30 lbs heavier and most of the time it’d be believable if you didn’t see them get on a scale!!
THIS IS THE PINNACLE OF BODYBUILDING, IT’S CREATING THAT ILLUSION!!
And of course if you cycle steroids then this would be a time to begin a cycle.
I constantly hear all of this talk about certain steroids being no good if you don’t use them for at least 12-15 weeks but I don’t buy into that. The best I’ve ever looked was doing a short 8 week cycle after a HARD 6 weeks of initial ass-busting and very few cheat meals!!
I believe the first 6 weeks of the diet and training is ultimately what helps determine the final outcome after a typical 12-14 week diet.
Start putting in the work and suffering early on to yield the better results in the end.
So there you have it, a perfect formula and affordable way to start getting shredded and try looking your best. Summer is always a good time to start getting peeled!!
